Well, it's just about baby time. My due date is 2 weeks away and this baby's about ready to come. The most important thing we had to do to get ready for baby was to get James sleeping in a toddler bed and I'm happy to say that it was a success. He's been sleeping great in his new bed for about a month now. It took a few nights of transitioning and eventually a lock on the door, but everything worked out and now he's sleeping as great as ever.
He is also trying to get as much daddy time as possible. I think he's definitely going to miss the attention from Hans more than he'll miss it from me. We're trying to let him get his fill before the baby comes and hopefully we'll be able to still give him the attention he needs after.
Other than that, the crib is ready to go, baby clothes are washed and we have a plan in place for babysitters for the big day. The only thing we don't have is a name. Kind of important, I know. We've narrowed it down to Hiram, Thomas, and Noah, but we can't quite pin one of them down. We're both giving this a lot of thought and hopefully we'll have made a decision in the next two weeks. Other than that, it's just a waiting game. I can't believe how this time has just flown past and that James is about to be a big brother. We are so excited and can't wait to watch our family grow.

I am so excited for you guys. Don't little boys just have such a love for their dad?! I am glad to see James adjusted to the bed so well. I am really worried about that for Landon. He still sleeps in the crib, because our new person doesn't come until July, but eventually we are going to have to switch.
I think he will probably get enough daddy time when the baby comes, just maybe not as much mommy time. But maybe thats because Brady isnt a big baby person so thats just been our experience. I can tell Hans will be a lot more involved with a newborn. The toddler bed is so cute, and it matches your crib! Good luck on the name! I think they are all three very cute. Cant wait to see the little guy!
YAY! Its a comin'! The toddler bed is a big step! Amelia is still in a crib and I am soooo grateful! She is an early riser and we some times leave her in there until we are ready to get up. She is used to it now, but I don't think it would continue if she could crawl out as easily as she could from a toddler bed.
I seriously love the name Noah, always have. You don't have to decide before you have the little guy. If you don't decide till you see him, I'm sure he will fit one of those 3 better than he will the other 2. Some times you can't fingure that out until you see the little face. :) Miles was going to be Bennett for a really long time, but he wasnt a Bennett- it was super obious when we met him and saw his face. We still like the name, maybe one of our other baby boys is suppost to be Bennett and that's why Miles has the name he has. :) Good luck!
